- Mr. A Ritchie, Alsace 2007
Interactive Content
Our holidays start and finish at Hotel Winzenberg in Blienschwiller.
Our regional hotels are *** and **** , all very comfortable, and many in very pretty villages.
Four Michelin starred restaurants.
Our holidays in the Alsace offer no less than 56 cycle paths through the vineyards. You'll pedal through colourful villages tumbling into each other, no more than a mile or two between each one. The buildings are all brightly painted.
Places to visit:
Selestat, where the first Christmas trees were sold! The Ecomusee, a stunning museum. Riquewihr, a medieval farming village and the only village not requiring major rebuilding following the two World Wars. The Maginot Line was once designed to hold back the Germans, there is a museum and bunkers to visit, now you can cross the river Rhine and spend a day in Germany.
New for 2008 Oberbergen, Germany, for cycle paths by the Rhine
